Gothic PDF's & Dice News

Spooky season fast approaches and we wanted to bring you an update on all things SHIVER & let you know that we are still running firmly on schedule! First of all SHIVER Gothic: Secrets of Spireholm PDFs will be going out to backers next month! We are aiming for this to happen right at the beginning of October. The book is is an absolute monster (pun intended) coming in at over 300 pages so there's going to be plenty to read through and explore.

In other news we have the finalise Metal Dice packs to show off! We went through a few prototypes before reaching this final form which will slay any werewolf you can find.

SHIVER Double Feature Launch Date

We're also excited to announce that SHIVER Double Feature releases on Gamefound this coming October 11th! We'll have both SHIVER Blockbuster & SHIVER Slasher for players to delve into to their hearts content!

We also wanted to address any concerns that SHIVER Gothic backers might have about us launching another project before Gothic is fulfilled completely. We made an announcement earlier this year that because of the success of the SHIVER Gothic project we have been able to expand the SHIVER team with Charlie quitting his job to work on SHIVER full time and also welcoming Adam and his army of mad Slasher creations to the team!

This has meant our ability to create new content for SHIVER has massively increased, unfortunately this doesn't speed up the print and logistics process so we will have some overlap between SHIVER Gothic & SHIVER Double Feature. We want to assure everyone that we are still very much on time with SHIVER Gothic, and will be delivering the first SHIVER Gothic PDF before the Gamefound launches. In the future that our expanded team means we'll be able to bring you even more SHIVER content with shorter wait times for delivery as well. We want to thank you again for your continued support that has helped us bring SHIVER to the world.

Keep an eye on your emails

Ok folks, Backerkit has begun to charge orders and that means it is digital downloads o'clock. The following items have been issued to backers who have completed their surveys and paid for any shipping and add ons:

• SHIVER Core Book
• The Cursed Library
• The Art of SHIVER

If you have not received these items in your inbox (to the email associated with your Backerkit account) then please drop us an email at [email protected].

Next on the distribution list will be PDFs for 'SHIVER Gothic: The Secrets of Spireholm' which we expect to be sending in October.

Pledge Manager Closes 13th July

This is the last call for backers who haven't already completed the pledge manager. Please make sure to do so, if you do not complete this step it may delay the delivery of your rewards. Please contact us imminently if you are having any issues.

If you have completed the pledge manager then thank you very much! If you wish to add any more items to your pledge you have until tomorrow to do so. You will still be able to edit your address after the pledge manager closes but won't be able to edit items.

Once the pledge manager has closed we will be distributing Core Book, Art Book, & Cursed Library PDFs before the end of July. Gothic PDFs will follow later this year with physical delivery in 2023.

Quick Housekeeping before exciting award news

The SHIVER Gothic pledge manager on Backerkit will be locking orders and charging on July 13th. If you haven't completed your pledge manager please do so as soon as possible as not doing so may mean you encounter delays in receiving your items.  If you are not sure if you have completed this step please email us at [email protected] for assistance.

We did it!

We're super proud to announce that SHIVER has won the people's choice award for 'BEST RPG' at the UK Games Expo!

We want to say a big thank you to all those who voted for us and everyone who came and said hi to us over the weekend. We had a great time talking to you all and the award really ended the event in style.

We'll be back with some more updates soon but for now make sure to get those pledge managers completed!
